The theme was peacock feather colors.  The bride ordered the edible feathers on line to stick in the cupcakes.  It turned out pretty, although I was skeptical.

Your part came out beautiful, not so sure about the feathers in the cupcakes, your feathers sticking out of them would have looked great.

Did you use the Wilton mold to make the feathers on the cake? IIf so what it the best way to use the mold? I own one but can't seem to get such a nice shape like you did.

Yes, I used the Wilton mold for the feathers. I just use a ball of fondant and push it in until level with the mold and pop it out. If you like them thinner, you just use a smaller ball of fondant and make sure the front is all imprinted. Hope that helps.
