Love Bird cake with matching cupcakes. The berries, leaves and blossoms are gumpaste, the birds are fondant and the nest is made of rice noodles. I cooked the noodles lightly as others advised but found to get the look I wanted I had to cook them completely in tinted water, shape in a foil mold and bake in the oven then I painted them a second time. Cake is double chocolate with oreo ganache filling and dark chocolate oreo frosting.
