Winter Warmth Wedding Cake
I'm still learning. But gained a little confidence this weekend with an hexagon shaped wedding cake in 4 tiers with butter cream and a simple piped design. I added wiltons white glitter and it really made the cake sparkle for the candlelight wedding and reception.

This is just lovely, you did a great job! Those corners are tough, but you seem to have mastered them. One thing though... it's hexagonal, not octaganal (not that it matters... it's still beautiful! :D)

Did you apply glitter after the bc crusted? Did you apply it all over and on the sides? I'm doing a wedding cake this weekend and would like to use glitter
I applied glitter before the bc crusted. I applied it right away on the sides and the top of each layer. I used a tilt plate to help with easy application for the glitter.
