I made white cake cupcakes and then colored the buttercream icing to match the fondant flowers for the top. I cut out the flowers about 3 days ahead. They didn't get too hard, but I did wait until about 1/2 hour before the shower to put the flowers on. The tiny cupcakes just have the buttercream flowers.
