In community album: Round Wedding Cakes
I made this wedding cake a few years ago before I knew about fondant!  I made the lily pads and the reeds out of candy clay The lilies were made of royal icing. The frog was purchased. When I delivered the cake it was very hot and the lily pads started sweating which made beads of moisture collected on them, which in turn made them look very realistic!
