I am so sorry to have not received this before today (my caking days are few and very far between for the past few years). to answer your question (albeit much too late i am sure), I made 2 copies the size I wanted it to be, and cut out one the outside shape and one the inside trefoil. I rolled out a bit thicker fondant and cut out the basic shapes for the larger part, i used probably a toothpick and or the end of a very small paintbrush to make the lines for the "rays", then used piping gel to "glue" on the trefoil. I then used metallic dust to make it, well....metallic looking. I hope this will help you in the future, and again, I am so sorry I didn't see this in time for you! I hope your cake came out AMAZING!
How did you replicate the bronze award insignia? I'm making a gold award cake, and need to know how. It's intimidating. lol
