This is my first cake using fondant! I took a Wilton class this summer knowing I wanted to make a shark cake for my son's first birthday! For the last day of class, we made our sample cakes and this is how it turned out! Although my son's birthday isn't until August 1st, I cant wait to make it again!! I plan on making this as the top tier and adding a 12 inch round for the second tier. That will include the sharks tail and more coral, plus sand around the bottom of the cake!
