Antique Roses
This is my entry at my local competition that I will deliver this week. 10' dummy on a 16" base. Covered with very light rose fondant with burgundy ribbon around the base. Sixteen burgundy moulded roses where added, then surrounded with royal icing brush embroidery. Royal icing extension bridge work was then done around the cake. The extension work is finished with a small snail trail. Burgundy gumpaste roses and rose leaves complete the center display. This was months in the making and I am so anxious to see if this will win me the division I entered
