This was made for a bridal shower. The bride has gold Jimmy Choo shoes that came in a bag, so a similar cake was requested. It is a french vanilla cake frosted in Italian Meringue Buttercream and covered in MMF. This was the first time doing a life size gumpaste shoe and I am disappointed with the finished product. After reading some posts, I realized I should have worked at it over a period of days (to let it set properly), not 1 day. Oh well, practice makes perfect, eventually. :)
