Celebration Cake for my cousin who has just passed her Irish Dancing teaching exams. The cake has a little pair of soft shoes on top with cutouts, just like an Irish Dancer would wear. Oops, pressed "OK" too soon! Anyway, I only had about 30 minutes left in the end to finish this cake which wouldn't have been nearly enough time to execute a good design round the sides of the cake, but I was still quite pleased with how it turned out. If I did it again (and with sufficient time) I'd like to try painting the design on the sides of the cake - perhaps with a sort of stained glass effect.
