I made this cake for a friend who is a director of a preschool. She wanted it for her end of the year party. The bottom layer is Red Velvet and the top is Vanilla. This is covered in fondant. The stars and apples are made of gumpaste. I got a chance to try the wood grain method on the chalkboard.
