I have seen this another time. I love it. I have even purchased the shoe mold from sugarcraft, I believe that is where I got it.

I really like this, it has an almost 1940's feel to me, kinda sepia toned....very nice!

Thanks for the nice comments! This was for a co-worker's birthday! I was also asked to make a wedding cake just like this cake. I got the mold from sugarcraft. I also made strawberry-filled chocolate truffles to put inside the shoe. The shoe took a few attempts to get it right.

great job ! is the circle the shoe is sitting on made out of chocolate also and if it is do I was wondering out candy molds items do on buttercream icing

Yes, there is an oval made from chocolate that the shoe is sitting on. Just used the bottom of the small oval shaped cake pan to mold the chocolate.
