OMG, I thought this would be the death of me. During decorating we had a storm and lost our electric for about 3 hours and it was so hot....sugarpaste and heat...not a good combo. Anyway, this is a red velvet cake with creamcheese icing. The cake is covered in sugarpaste. The head is a styrofoam ball again covered in sugarpaste. The legs are PVC pipe as well as the nose, all covered in sugarpaste. Party hat is a sugar cone and the blowy thingy is a dowel rod. I attached the head using dowel rods running almost the full length of the cake and then using melted chocolate to adhear it. I also use melted chocolate to attach the blowy thingy. TFL.
