For the men in my life...both "Poppa" (my dh) and a first time dad (our SIL) who are both Trekkies. Yellow cake filled with vanilla buttercream and covered in handpainted fondant. Star in the middle is also painted fondant. The edging is all black but shiny so it picked up the gold base board and reflected it.
