Practice Frills With Rolled Fondant

This cake is made with the smallest size round pan I have, I think it's three inches by two. The cake itself is a lemon sour cream pound cake soaked in raspberry syrup and is three layers tall. I used one and a half cakes to achieve the height, It is iced with butter cream icing and then covered with strips of very thin fondant that was thinned out with the ball tool. The fantasy flower and leaves were made from gum paste. I have a bride coming on Sunday for a tasting appointment and this is one of the cakes I will use.
