The bodies are made of caramels. I popped four pieces in the microwave for about 7 seconds or so, smushed together then rolled out flat. Easy process but took some time.
Thank you ShakyCakes and Ladybug! These were fun to make. I just piped a thick layer of buttercream on the cupcakes. Covered them with 4 squares of caramel softened in microwave and flatted. I used a template to cut a round shape with a round cut out for the "rear end." I pinched the rear together letting some of the buttercream squeeze out . I formed the drumsticks with 2 squareds of softened caramel and stuck a pretzel stick in for the legs. I tinted some buttercream green, slightly melted and poured
...poured over Special K cereal. Then I just glued on with more buttercream. The "stuffing" was Grape Nuts cereal with a few green nonperils. Hope the instructions were clear!! I
