This cake was inspired by a cake the bride found online--wish I knew who to thank! The background is wine fondant with a cream tree. Once the cake was taken to the reception, I added the tandem bicycle to the base of the cake (I broke one of the bikes in the photo shoot before delivery--though a little royal icing fixed the three breaks, I couldn't risk trying it again until the reception!). The bicycle is made of gumpaste, hand crafted and airbrushed grey then silver and hand painted seats.
