For a friends barbeque. Vanilla Milkshake: Vanilla WASC filled with vanilla cream. Fudge sundae filled with vanilla mousse and chocolate ganache. TFL! :)
Great job! I'm wanting to fill some with mousse too. When you do that, do the cupcakes need to be refrigerated? I wonder about the consistency of the mousse after a while. Thanks. :)
Thanks! I do refrigerate everything because I like mousse. (Costco mousse recipe from this site with extra cream to lighten it up.) I aways do the cream on a Thursday for a Saturday cake. (The whopping 7 or so cakes I have done :). The mousse is aways great. I only refrigerate buttercream/wrapped cakes or MMF cakes. They are aways really moist since they stay wrapped since warm from the oven. The ganache over mousse was like eating an eclair inside a cupcake! Leftovers a few days later, still great.
