Lots and lots and lots of gel color! the brown icing is vanilla BC as well too so it has a ton of brown in it....I made the BC stiffer than usual so that when the color is added it doesn't get all smushy on me
It's a beautiful cake! I attempted 'brown', vanilla buttercream and had the same issue with using too much food coloring. I will never make 'brown', vanilla buttercream again.
