Orange blossom cake filled with strawberry butter cream. Cake was carved to give initial shape and covered with fondant. A sharp tool was use to create details. I used gum-paste mixed with fondant to create top pages and I place them on top of cake and fold corners and ages to give a more life like form. I used food coloring a brush to create and antique look to it. A poem written by the customer and scripts from the bible were hand written with a brush and food coloring. Per customers request a gum-paste angel was to be dressed with the Jersey of the College that the student will be attending.
