My son wanted a Sonic and Mario b-day cake.I know it's not perfect (it was just for us anyways).Buttercream icing with fondant decorations.Also used cookie royal icing for some of the details.The stars are fondant and I used an edible food marker for the writing.Sonic and Mario are pics printed and cut out from regular printer paper "glued" to fondant with Crisco (that were thrown away before the cake was cut.)
