This cake just about did me in! I would have loved to have used fondant, but my friend specifically wanted buttercream. Fondant accents were acceptable, just not completely covered. It was the first hot, humid week here in TN and my icing just didn't want to cooperate. I got it done, but could've been happier. If I hadn't of had time constraints I just would have redone it. I did love the topper though!
