Idea snatched from the wonderful Bakerella website! 60 apple cake pops for a 6th grade end of trimester party. I thought the 6th grade girls might appreciate the apple blossoms and the boys might appreciate the worms, caterpillars and bees. Because they certainly won't appreciate the ridiculous amount of work and time that goes into these things! Six cake flavors, red candy melts, pretzel stick stalks, fondant leaf cutout. I used a cheap peck basket with a two-tier styrofoam shape inside, topped with florists' rafia-type stuff.

Holy moley! I KNOW these took FOREVER! It shows! I don't know if I have the patience for these. The most I have done for cake pops is sprinkles. LOL! :D

I've done the apple pops before but I have never seen the "cut" apple..... that is super cute!

Thanks! It was actually because I had slightly less than a full pop's worth of dough left! Then I became inspired and did one with a bite out of it too! Not in the photo though...
