There was a couple getting married at church who were doing a ceremony only, as they had a young family and weren't able to afford any frills. The pastor's wife ordered a single layer wedding cake for them, and offered to pay for it so they could at least have cake to serve to the guests. I was so humbled by it, I made this simple cake and donated it to the church. Everyone was so appreciative, it really made me feel so good that I was able to make someone's wedding day a little brighter! This was a 6/8 round banana cake with cream cheese buttercream icing and filling. They didn't have any florals, so at the Pastor's wife request, I put "God Bless Your Union". TFL!
