Basket Weave-Practice Cake

This is my 1st attempt at doing the basket weave design (I used Pillsbury's butter cream recipe for the icing). Not that tidy, I know, but I guess for a self-taught hobbyist it's okay...

I have set myself the goal of being able to do basketweave this year, self taught, If my first attempt is only half as good as yours.I'll be happy!!!
