This cake was inspired by my son's first birthday invitation, although I altered the colors a bit. The top tier is 8" and consists of a layer of chocolate cake and a layer of almond cake, filled with cannoli cream. The bottom 10" tier is an almond cake soaked in coffee and marsala and filled with tiramisu filling. All decorations are fondant, except the "1" topper made of gumpaste. First time using the funky letter cutters. Thanks for looking!
