This is my grandson's 16th b/d cake. He inherited his dads truck. I studied for 2 yrs. on mike mccary's car dvd, wishing to do this cake . I fell and broke my right arm in 3 places 4-4-11. His b/d was 5-30-11.My tears when i fell, was for thinking i would not be doing this special cake for my grandson. God is good. With the help of my sister and my special friend that also decorates cakes. we got er done!!! lol!!! I used my knowledge from the car dvd to cut the truck cake.We were all really proud. My grandson was the proudest. I started on it a month before it all came down. , making the tires,freezing the cakes, making the icing, and anything i could to make this happen. Just using my left hand was really hard, but worth it all. Please enjoy!!! The orange and yellow lights on the cake , front and back, did not show up good. I did everything i could to make it happen. It measured 17" long, 7 1/4" wide and cab about 6" tall.
