Dani's Baby Shower Cake
This was almost a disaster. After frosting the cake, I went to wash my mixing bowl, and found out we had no water. YIKES! Our dog had pulled on the hose, and pulled a pipe loose under our house. I had planned to make MMF decorations for the top, but due to lack of water had to come up with another plan. I attached these baby items I had bought for her to cookie sticks, with ribbon, then pushed the sticks into the cake. I placed circles of waxed paper under them so they didn't get frosting all over them.
This was a two layer 12 inch white cake, torted and filled with strawberry filling. It was so yummy!
It's very pretty!
Very cute. What tip did you use for the clouds?
I think it was tip 12.
Aw...this is so sweet!! I'm glad that everything worked out for you...It really turned out adorable!
Good recovery! It looks great.
Oh gosh, what a time you had. Well this is an adorable cake, bet she loved it!
Great save! It turned out adorably!
This is just the most precious thing I've ever seen...GREAT JOB!
