This was made for a good friend's baby shower. I don't remember how many cupcakes I used. The lace is real lace, I can't do ruffles yet. It was a big hit at the shower.

I just lightly pressed the lace into the frosting while it was still pretty soft.

I don't remember. I just found some lace at the fabric store that I thought was pretty.

I too use lace sometimes on a cake, but I haven't done anything like this. This is so pretty and delicate, what a lovely cake and wonderful idea. Love it!
