House Warming Cake

Not from a class, but my first cake not for immediate family. Made for a housewarming party for church. From scratch vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and strawberry filling. Cornelli lace in corners and on front of cake. Nest is made from sugar cookies (colored brown) and toasted coconut, held together with brown buttercream. Birds and eggs handmade from buttercream thickened with powdered sugar. Not visible, but the front of the cake says "Where The Heart Is".
