This cake was for a friend's baby shower. The cake was chocolate with rasberry filling and cream cheese frosting. The legs are cake and fondant covered, while the feet are all fondant. I had a lot of fun putting all the little lines on the feet, knees and toes! The blanket is white with light green border and tiny roses all over it. It is hard to see in the picture, but there is a quilted pattern on it too. the colors are light pink, dark pink and green. I got the idea from many here on cake central and in google images. The shoe template was also here on cake central. This was lots of fun and is now one of my favorite cakes to make. The tiny roses for this cake were a lot of work, but totally worth it in the end. The blanket was too thin, and tore as I covered the baby, but I pieced it back together and stuck a bbq pick in it until it was dry, then I covered the hole with another tiny rose and no one noticed at all. I just about died when I first tore it though! The cupcake are mini sized and they were chocolate with rasberry filling and cream cheese frosting. The polka dots on the cake and cupcakes are from fondant.
