I was going to make a cake for my friend?s bridal shower, and I decided on a dress cake. She is a born romantic, so the Victorian dress was the obvious choice. It was my first dress cake, and I think it turned out perfectly. Everything is made out of gumpaste and royal icing. Underneath the dress is a chocolate cake with strawberry mousse as filling.
