This was for my daughter's teacher to give our appreciation for being such a wonderful teacher. BC covered in MMF with MMF details. Apple is also cake. I had so much trouble with my red fondant losing its elasticity from adding too much red color. I colored my MMF the day before to let it get darker but I still had to add so much red color. Anyone have any suggestion as to what I can add to bring back the elasticity? TIA

I love the cake. May I copy the design? For your fondant elasticity you can add corn syrop or glucose to the fondant. When I made MMF to color in a dark color, I mix in melted chocolate chips in it.; that way I don't have to use as much red color. The recipe is here in the recipe section HTH :D

Lilriv - I actually took ideas from many cakes on CC to come up with this design. You are more than welcome to use it. Thank you for the tips on the MMF.
