Fondant-covered carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Fondant candy and M&Ms. The ice cream 'accident' is a cake pop based on the Bakerella version. I saw a version of this cake by Andrea Schwarz on Cakewrecks Sunday Sweets, but I don't have a website to link to. Thank you, Andrea!

Very cute. I love the icecream cone. It's great how all of the fun, carefree placement of the candy comes together while at the same time your work is so neat. If that makes any sense. lol Great job!!!

Really cute cake! Can I ask what cream cheese frosting you used and if you had to refrigerate your cake? I want to do a cream cheese and fondant cake but I can't seem to find a cream cheese icing I like that doesn't need to be refrigerated and read thet you shouldn't refrigerate fondant covered cakes. :)

Hi, Amyleigh. I made my own cream cheese frosting (just combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla extract to taste). I didn't refrigerate it before delivery but have recommended that it be refrigerated once cut. You're right, you shouldn't refrigerate a fondant cake as it goes shiny and sticky. I can only recommend that you don't fill your cake too far in advance of covering it!!
