The happy couple eloped on Cape Cod and wanted their cake to reflect the destination for their reception (which was held once they returned home. For the Adirondack chairs, I downloaded a pattern for real full-size wooden chairs..shrunk them...and made a model out of cardboard to make sure it would work before making the final pair out of gumpaste. I was (and still am!) really proud of them.
