Bible was carved from a one layer 9x13 vanilla cake. It is covered in buttercream. Flowers, leaves and cross are gumpaste, the host and rosary are fondant, and the chalice is white chocolate. The cross was painted silver with a mix of vodka, black icing and pearl luster dust.
