Baby Cookies
I made these cookies for a friend at work for her daughter's baby shower. She told me at the last minute that she wanted her daughter's name on them so I had to improvise with the wafer paper ribbons. They look ok but I was dissappointed that they took away from some of the designs. Thanks for looking!

thank you to all of you, again, baby celebrations are my favorite so I ALWAYS enjoy doing anything for baby showers. Kbselig the picture isn't very clear but the word baby and the trim on the heart is a pastel mix of nonpareils, the little ball thingys! Thanks for looking!
how did you do the cap...what makes it look fluffy..i love them all..what icing recipe do you use
thank you cookiecab, it's a royal icing recipe that I have been using forever, not sure if it is on here somewhere or not. It is 5 tbsp. water, 3 tbsp. meringue powder, 1 tbsp. (or equiv.) of flavoring (I use creme bouquet) and then enough powder sugar to make it the right consistency. For me, it is right when I can lift the beaters out and the part that drips back in takes 7-8 seconds to disappear into the rest of the icing. The "fluffy" part of the cap is just all white non-pareils, those tiny ba...
