This is a 6-inch cake I did last weekend (May 2011) on a moment's notice for a client planning a last-minute surprise for her son and daughter-in-law. The cake is hummingbird cake (banana/pineapple/pecan) with cream cheese frosting and a center pineapple-ring filling. Basketweave sides underneath the vines and some royal icing leaves here and there.
