I did this for my future sister in laws bridal shower. I used 4 6" round cakes topped with 1/2 of the ball pan cake. Covered in fondant. This was the first time that I tried the BC flavored fondant recipe from DMJ69 on this site I had 2 people, (one of which was the bride to be! ) tell me that they did not like fondant but that was really good. And it was so easy to work with! Thank you! The top of the body is made from fondant/gumpaste and on the top of the dress I used a piece of lace rolled over the fondant then brushed with Wilton dust before peeling off the lace. The lace on the bottom front and back of dress was done with a mold. Dots were piped with royal icing. I used the petal pan on the bottom to get enough servings and used the colors for the wedding which are yellow and gray. This was a fun and easy cake to do and everyone loved it.
