Your cake doesn't look like a cake it looks like a piece of artwork. You did a fantastik job. You have a great talent. Keep up the great work! and I have to agree with your boss..... Wow awesome!

this is fantastic; beautiful artwork, on OR off the cake!! PS---my husband (an artist himself) says: now THAT is art. By the way, he wants to know what type of food coloring do you use on your cakes with the airbrush?

ty guys for all your wonderful comments. ellepal I use the kopykake airbrush colors at home and the bakerycraft colors at work. I love doint this and everytime i do one my boss always asks what the heck i am doin at (shhhh. walmart). But o well, cakelady, airbrushing is easy once you get the hang of your line thickness. barely pull the trigger back and be close to your support (cake, canvas, paper) makes nice skinny lines. more air pressure and farther back, makes for filling in larger areas. all i can...

Please tell me you also do airbrush on canvas, because it's too much of a shame to have your artwork eaten! You are very talented!

mcginnis, yes I also make artwork on canvases, walls, paper, etc. lol cakes are just another support for a particular medium this one being airbrushing thank you for asking. :D

WOW! I wanna get my airbrushing like that! I already said on the forum that I can't draw for anything LOL. I am getting better with the airbrush, I can write nicely with it...sometimes. That's gorgeous hon. Do you have a problem with your colors fading within a little bit of time?

hiya candy, I don't have a prob with it on buttercream but on riches or bettercream it will fade, alot! This was whipped cream bc from the recipe section. It never faded at all on me and still looked great.
