Tatty Teddy Birthday Cake

This was made for my daughters 2nd birthday. Its a 2 tiered devils food and vanilla cake with both semisweet and white chocolate ganache. "Topper" was a beautiful easter chocolate that I just couldn't eat. Top tier is covered in white fondant with grey fondant patches I scored with a paring knife to achieve a 'fuzzy' look. It was my first time making a tiered cake as well as using fondant. Flowers, heart and star were made with a homemade fondant/gumpaste (not 100% sure, recipe was REALLY old) and it was also my first time trying to pipe any details. Ribbon roses were made with Starburst fruit chews and gummy sweets. TFL
