This is one very rich cake. I made it for my husband's boss for his birthday, and it was a hit. It has a cooked German butter cream frosting on the top and for the filling, and a cappuccino butter cream for the sides. Even though it uses only 8" pan sizes for the three layers, it feeds a lot of people because of the richness of the cake. Each piece was actually about half the size of a regular sized piece of birthday cake. If you are interested in making this cake, I did post the recipe along with the icing recipes all inclusive.
