This cake was for a very special baby boy. He was born with a heart condition, and he spent much of his first year either in the hospital or under strict visitation restrictions. So his first birthday was a pretty big bash. This was one of 3 cakes. The other 2 were heart shaped, because he struggled so hard and overcame so much.
