Made this for my sushi-loving boyfriend's birthday. "Wood" board is the cake, covered in fondant and brushed with vanilla extract/brown food color. Fondant sushi with white "rice" sprinkles (had trouble getting them to stick, sad face). Lettuce and "carrot" rose at the bottom left, and "Sushi Cat" holding the Happy Birthday sign at the bottom right. If you don't know, Sushi Cat is a fun little online game (my boyfriend likes to play from time to time). As I'm posting this, I realize I forgot his whiskers! Woops!
