I made this monkey cake for my daughter's baby shower. She is having a little girl and her baby bedding is the CoCaLo Jacana bedding from Babies-R-Us. As I was making the cake, my son-in-law asked if he could have some of the fondant. Before, I knew it, he had created the little girraffe and monkey. I thought it was so cool that he wanted to do this. I couldn't resist and had to add them to the cake. The cake is a WASC cake with buttercream icing and fondant trimmings.
