Thanks to the inspiration of several CC cakes for the creation of this cake. I made this for my twins second birthday. Mickey Ears are a styrofoam ball cut in half covered with fondant and the ears are fondant with toothpicks to hold them in place. All the gears are hand cut from fondant as well as the stars and the balls. Cakes are covered in buttercream. The characters are from some toys the boys had. It was time consuming but worth it to see their faces in the morning full of joy and delight! Had a hard time keeping their little fingers off of it! :)
