Sunshine & Rain Cupcakes

can you please share how you made your sun? I need to do something similar for my friend's cupcakes. thanks!

The center of the sun was cut with the back end of a large icing tip. For the "rays" I used on of the flower cutters from the wilton gumapste flower kit and shaped the edges around the back of a small paint brush. Attached the two pieces with a drop of vodka. Added gold lusterdust for sparkle. Hope that makes sense!
