My daughter wanted a 'fashion Fairy Tale' party so I tried my first attempt at a doll cake and trying to make ruffles out of fondant. I haven't worked with fondant alot, but was happy with how it came out. In trying to match the real dress, I graduated the pink color in each layer of ruffles and used the real 'fashion fairy tale' barbie that I found on clearance in the store. Her dress wouldn't come off, but with some cyran wrap and masking tape, I made her dress as condensed as possible to fit inside.
