This is a cake I made for my Father's 82nd birthday. He is from Germany so I choose this theme to remind him of his homeland. It is a 10" x 6" german choc. cake with oreo cookie filling and a 8" x 4" white cake with raspberry filling. The beer stein is made from RCT and covered in fondant. The tablecloth and pretzel are also fondant. The scenes are edible images. I have the medievil town of Rothenburg, Neuschanstein Castle, my sister's house in Grabowhofe Germany with her and her husband waving "Hello" and my Dad's hometown of Danzig. It is iced in buttercream and all the trees, water, flowers, etc are buttercream. This cake was a lot of fun to make and best of all my Father loved it!!! Thanks for looking!
