This is my little 6 inch round storm trooper cake. I got the idea from someone who had actually made this cake out of fondant, but I needed a quick cake and didnt have much fondant lying around so I just whipped up some good ole fashion buttercream- took out a couple bowls for mixing the different colors and went to work. He is a vanilla cake - ( like most men in uniform, delicious looking) and plain jane buttercream frosting. He was donated to my sons pinewood derby silent auction. I made 4 cakes that friday- Storm trooper, darth vader, r2d2, and Minion. Sorry if I dont have much description- it was a busy day.
